season is here...
If your organization is planning a charity motorcycle run and
you would like it promoted on the Ride Report at
www.y106.com,
just email the information to
ride@y106.com.
Be sure to include the name of the event, charity to benefit,
date, time the run starts, start and finish location, entrance
fee and an email address or phone number where a member of your
organization can be contacted. We'll make sure all the bikers in
South Cental Indiana know about it.

or shine benefit ride for Seymour Anchor House, sponsored by
Follow the Son Motorcycle Club.
Freewill donations accepted for the August 11 ride, with sign in
starting at 8am at Wal-Mart in Seymour. The ride starts at
9:30, ending at Spring Mill Inn Restaurant in
Mitchell.

Earnhart Memorial Scholarship 60/40 Poker Run on Saturday August
25, 2012. Sign-in @ 11am, with kickstands up @ noon.
Ride starts and ends at the North Vernon Moose Lodge (Hwy 3
across from Lowes Distribution). Registration fee is
$20 per bike, with
all proceeds going to the Friends & Family of the Chad
Earnhart Memorial Scholarship Fund. Plenty of free food
for the riders after the event, along with t-shirts for
sale. Also following ride, there will an Auction and a
50/50 drawing, starting around 5pm.

First Annual
KNIGHTS RIDE FOR GIBAULT Saturday, August 18, 2012.
Registration will take place from 7:30am-8:30am at the KofC Hall
(2202 M St, Bedford, IN
– just South of Green Hill Cemetery). Kickstands up at 9am.
Cost for the ride is $20 Bike with Rider/ $10
Passenger, and includes Gibault Pins FREE to First 150 Riders. The
ride will include a Blessing of Bikes sponsored by Christian
Motorcycle Association (Bedford and Terre Haute Chapters) and
tours of school campus and interactions with staff and students.
All proceeds go to support the Gibault School.

Ride to SEIZE THE SEIZURES on Saturday, August 18, 2012;
$20 for single riders and $30 for couples.
Registration 8 to 10:30am at the Taste Shop, on 252 in
Edinburgh, IN, with ride underway at 11am. Ride
followed by silent auction, food and music. Registered
riders get a free t-shirt and wrist band while supplies last,
with additional shirts for sale as well.

The First Annual
W.I.L.L. Power Charity Ride is on August 18, 2012. The set
time is 11am, weather permitting, leaving from the Johnson
County Museum in Franklin. The money from this non-alcoholic
charity ride goes to an alcohol
awareness program in memory of a late teenager. The ride goes to
the Grover Museum in Shelbyville for root beer floats, then to
Not Just Popcorn in Edinburgh,
ending in downtown Bargersville for a Block Party in memory of
William in his home town. The entrance fee for the ride is
$20 and $5 for an extra passenger. All the treats along
the ride are covered in the entry fees. There will be a
live DJ, dunk tank, inflatable
challenge course vending booths, and a car show.
