Ride season is here...

If your organization is planning a charity motorcycle run and you would like it promoted on the Ride Report at www.y106.com, just email the information to ride@y106.com.  Be sure to include the name of the event, charity to benefit, date, time the run starts, start and finish location, entrance fee and an email address or phone number where a member of your organization can be contacted. We'll make sure all the bikers in South Cental Indiana know about it.

Motorcycle Ride for the Immune Deficiency Foundation. Saturday, July 9th. Sign up will be from 9am-10:30am, and the ride leaves at 10:30. The ride starts at Master Power Transmission (across from Kohl’s), and ends at Ceraland Park . Cost is $15 per person. There will be door prizes, 50/50 drawing, and music. Rain Date is July 30th. The Hoosier Hills Armed Forces Families Association “Support Our Troops Ride”. Saturday, July 16th. Registration is from 9am-11am, with the ride leaving at 11am. The Ride starts at the National Guard Armory at 2020 19th St. in Bedford . Cost is $20 per bike/ $5 for passengers, and includes food, drinks, and a live band. Live music will be provided by Pass The Peas. All proceeds go to send care packages to soldiers. July 16th 9am National Guard Armory, Bedford Mark @ 812-583-6359
Benefit Ride For Wishes. Saturday, July 23rd. Registration is from 10am-Noon, with kickstands up at 12:30pm from Cummins Engine Plant on Central Ave. in Columbus. This will be a 100 mile ride through Southeastern Indiana ’s small towns and farmlands. Cost is $20 per bike, and all bikes are welcome. Dakota's Ride. Saturday, July 23rd. The event starts at Cliffs Bar and Grill in Downtown Edinburgh at 11am. The ride will benefit Dakota (Wagers) Smith, who has not been out of Riley Hospital since his birth in April, suffers from hydrocephalus, and is recovering from open heart surgery. Cost for the ride is $25 per bike. The event will also have family activities, including: face painting, pony rides, and balloons. A hog roast will also be held.
