Ride season is here...

If your organization is planning a charity motorcycle run and you would like it promoted on the Ride Report at www.y106.com, just email the information to ride@y106.com.  Be sure to include the name of the event, charity to benefit, date, time the run starts, start and finish location, entrance fee and an email address or phone number where a member of your organization can be contacted. We'll make sure all the bikers in South Central Indiana know about it.

Miracle Ride For Riley. This 2-day event takes place on June 4th and 5th. The event will include Poker Runs, a Bike Show, Games, Silent Auction, Blessing of the Bikes and The Big Ride. ABATE of Lawrence County ’s “Party in the Pasture Festival, Ride and Bike Show.  Gates open at 10 am. Bike Show sign in from 10am to 11am. Ride will start from the festival grounds after 12pm. Live music starts at 9pm. Admission $10.00 for ABATE members and $15.00 for non-members. Admission covers one meal and drink, bike show, music and dancing, bike ride and field events. Trails of Hope Third Annual  Motorcycle Ride/Hog Roast. Saturday, June 11.Registration starts at 11:00am at Hope Town Square , and the ride leaves at Noon. The ride will head to scenic Brown County , and returns to Trails of Hope for live band and hog roast. There will also be Prizes, 50/50, live music, and food. Cost $ 20.00 per rider $15.00 per passenger (Price includes a tee shirt) Don’t have a bike… you can still come enjoy the food and band, $7.00 per plate. Proceeds benefit Trails of Hope  - a not for profit therapeutic horseback riding center for children and adults with special needs.  All proceeds will go towards scholarships and riding equipment.  FREEDOM RUN.  Region 7 ABATE Ripley County will host their Freedom Run on Saturday, June 18th. The run starts at Liberty Park (716 South Park Avenue., Batesville IN). Ride and Bike show sign in 10:00am-Noon. Ride leaves at 1:00pm. Admission $15.00 per person/ $25.00 per couple. Free T-shirt while supplies last.  There will also be a Bike Show.  A great scenic route is planned to the Circle Z Ranch on 450 South Near Friendship. There will be a hog roasted with all the trimmings, Biker Games, awards & Prizes, a great Band (Under the Bus). Charity Motorcycle Ride for the Tony Stewart Foundation, Saturday, June 18.  Registration starts at 9AM and the ride leaves at 11AM from the Franklin American Legion. There will be 50/50 drawings, raffles, music, and activities all throughout the day.  A hog will follow the ride provided by The Tasty Shop Tavern - Edinburgh. Steve Barnett will be bringing one of Tony Stewart's dirt cars for display, and there will also be Tony Stewart merchandise raffled/auctioned donated by the foundation. All proceeds will benefit the Foundation.  June 18th 9am Franklin American Legion  
Coleton’s Crusade Motorcycle Benefit Ride.  The ride takes place on June 25th, and begins and ends at the American Legion in Edinburgh . Sign in is form 9am-11am, with the ride leaving at 11am. Cost is $20 per rider, with an additional $5 for passengers. Riders will get a free t-shirt, and breakfast and lunch will be provided. Proceeds will benefit the family of Coleton Wright who suffers from ALD, a rare, incurable disease. June 25th 9am American Legion, Edinburgh Joy @ 812-374-6216
2nd Annual Louisville Breast Cancer Poker Run. Saturday, June 25th. Registration is from 11am-12:30pm, with the last bike out at 1pm. The ride starts at Fern and Moodys ( 3903 Bardstown Rd. Lousiville , KY ) and the final stop will be at Two-Lane Liquor & Bar ( 9702 Old Bardstown Rd. Lousiville , KY ). There will be free food at the final stop, live music, and auction and raffles. Discount rooms for riders will be available by calling 502-456-5050. 1st Poker hand is a $15 donation, and a $25 donation includes 2 hands and a Free T-shirt.  All hands need to be turned in by 6pm. Proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. June 25th

  4th Annual Warren's Ride will be held Saturday, June 25th. The ride starts at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church on Smokey Row Road in Greenwood . Registration is at 8:30 and the ride starts around 10:00. Proceeds from Warren 's Ride go to help to fight Melanoma. June 25th 8:30am Mt.
