Ride season is here...

If your organization is planning a charity motorcycle run and you would like it promoted on the Ride Report at www.y106.com, just email the information to ride@y106.com.  Be sure to include the name of the event, charity to benefit, date, time the run starts, start and finish location, entrance fee and an email address or phone number where a member of your organization can be contacted. We'll make sure all the bikers in South Cental Indiana know about it.

***RESCHEDULED! *** Charity motorcycle ride to Benefit Columbus Firemen’s Cheerfund. Saturday, October 1, 2011. Registration begins at 9am. Kickstands up 10am. Ride will start from Chili’s parking lot (corner of US 31 and 10th Street ). Ride will travel through beautiful Southern Indiana . ALL proceeds go to Columbus Firemen’s Cheerfund. $25 single/$35 rider. All bikes welcome!!! October 1 9am Chili's, Columbus Chris at 812-343-0271.
1st Annual Waldron Fire Department Hog Ride. Saturday, October 1, 2011. Registration begins at 1pm, Kickstands up at 3pm. Cost for the ride is $20 per bike/$10 per passenger. There will also be a Hog Roast at Firehouse from 6pm-10pm, after the ride. Live Music, 50/50 Raffle, Door Prizes, Best in Show. The ride begins and ends at Waldron Fire Department  112 E. The 2nd Annual RIDE for The Arc of Bartholomew County . Saturday, October 1, 2011. The ride starts at 2060 Doctors Park Dr .  Columbus, IN. Cost: Riders- $20.00/Passengers- $10.00/Kids 12 & under-Free. Registration will be from 9-11am, with Kickstands up at 11am. Each paid participant will also receive a complimentary 1 year membership to The Arc of Bartholomew County. All proceeds to benefit The Arc Center for Excellence, The Arc of Bartholomew County, A Nonprofit Agency Assisting and Advocating for People with Disabilities and their Families since 1956.  The 9th Annual Jefferson Co. (IN) Motorcycle Toy Run For Children will be held Saturday - October 8, 2011. Sign is is from 10:30 - 11:45am at The Crown Room located at 184 Clifty Drive in Madison . Cost of the ride is $10 single/$15 couple PLUS ONE NEW TOY. Bikes out promptly at noon. There will be raffles - 50/50 - poker hand - and food on landing. Please come out and help us to provide a brighter Christmas to many of our area children. Rain date will be Saturday, October 15, 2011.
