Johnson County Officials Prepare for Severe Weather
Severe weather preparedness week is under way in Indiana. On Wednesday, a double test of the emergency alert system takes place on broadcast radio and TV. The first one happened at 10:15 am and the second occurred around 7:35 pm.
The drill was a good time for anyone to test their tornado drill plans. Forest Sutton, director of Johnson county emergency management says their drill went off without a hitch. Sutton advises all homes and businesses have an emergency plan and a weather radio. Some forecasters predict the weather in Indiana could be dangerous this season.
